Message The fact that you have a prototype makes your case less relevant.
Prototypes by their nature are prone to more scrutiny.
I have trouble believing that every rail going out the door is fully pressure tested.

So, first, defective materials:
The Nickel plating guy was a fucking idiot and plated the AN fittings.
In case you didn't know, AN mating surfaces are extremely finicky, so they should NEVER be plated.

Apparently while they were hanging to dry, it formed an uneven surface due to gravity.
This made my rail leak profusely and I'm glad I scrutinized it, otherwise there'd be another "Well, my Z is toast" thread.

As for the fuel temp sensor placement, NO it is NOT like factory.
The fuel temp sensor screws *into a seat* on the factory rail which wholly envelops the sensor threads.
The WINFactory unit, as I explained, threads through a ring and the bottom of the sensor then presses against the pipe.
(~ a 1/16-1/8" gap between the ring and the rail)

Those 2 scenarios are incredibly different.
I'm don't know that you're aware, but sensors like that don't have a finite hotspot area of measurement on the bottom of them, the entire threaded area contributes to its measurement and the fact that some of that area is exposed to air movement makes it less accurate.

Why is this explain logic day?
This is truly ridiculous that I have to explain fact in this manner.
Would anyone like reinforcement as to why they fall towards the Earth and not away from it while I'm at it?
